Suh is an absolute beast and should win the Heisman, though we know he won't. Total freak of nature.
ReplyDeleteThere's no doubt about it. He's the best player in the nation.
ReplyDeleteI disagree. Toby Gerhart at #59??? This dude runs through defenses like the Kool-Aide Man. USC, Notre Dame, didn't matter. That kid from Bama probably wins it even though his numbers aren't as good. If you haven't seen Gerhart play, he is a true beast.
ReplyDeleteThe Kool-Aide man was a downhill runner for sure, but he lacked in lateral movement. Plus, he was fragile as hell. Oh, and he scored a 3 on the Wonderlic.
ReplyDeleteGerhart is all north/south. He offers nothing as a third down back, he's not a good pass blocker, and he's not a guy that can bounce it outside.
ReplyDeleteHe also runs too tall, and needs a lot of work.
Watching more film on him has actually made me consider taking him off my top 60 on the next revision. But I'd still like to have him for short yardage.
And no, Ingram was just as deserving, if not more. He single-handedly carried that offense to the NC game.
